Dr. Randy Davidson graduated Summa Cum Laude from David Lipscomb University with a B.S. in chemistry in 1981. In 1985, Dr. Davidson received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis and graduated in the top ten of his class. In 1986, he interned at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his orthopedic residency at the Campbell Clinic (Memphis) in 1990 and joined the Mid-Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic in January of 1991.

He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and served as the Vice-Chief of Staff in 1998 and the Chief of Staff at Maury Regional Hospital in 1999.
Dr. Davidson currently serves on the Credentials Committee and Executive Committee at Maury Regional Medical Center. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Children’s Home in Spring Hill and was previously on the Board at Columbia Academy.
Dr. Davidson and his wife, Jeannie, have six children. Taylor is an attorney in Columbia with DuBois and DuBois, Austin is in medical school in Memphis, Emily is a teacher in Nashville, Bryce and Braden are both students at Lipscomb University in Nashville, and Kelsey is a student at Columbia Academy.
Dr. Davidson has helped lead a group of Columbia Academy students on a mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico, each spring for the last nine years. His hobbies include travel, scuba diving, watching sports, soccer and football in particular, and being with his family.
