J. Fredrick Wade, MDJoint Replacement SurgeryDr. Freddie Wade began his career in medicine by obtaining his undergraduate degree from Auburn University in 1985 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. In 1989, he received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Wade received the following awards:
Dr. Wade did his internship at the Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina from 1989-1990. He later completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from the same institution in 1994 and was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Resident Award. Dr. Wade specializes in hip and knee replacements and surgical treatment of herniated discs in the neck and back. Dr. Wade is a native of Moulton, Alabama. He has been involved in the Junior Church Youth Group with First Presbyterian in Columbia and also served as deacon. In addition to his community involvement, Dr. Wade is a member of the following organizations:
He has also participated in Habitat for Humanity in Middle Tennessee and in his free time enjoys biking and playing golf. |
